The Jungfruskär island group belongs to the Archipelago National Park and is located almost 30 kilometers west of Galtbyt in Korppoo. Jungfruskär is characterized by extensive leafy meadows with exceptionally diverse nature.
A twenty volunteers went to take care of the meadows of the island in spring 2022. If the island's meadows were not cared for, deciduous trees would take over the meadows again and biodiversity would suffer.
The camp's cook, Allu, stands in front of the old building that works as a kitchen.
The volunteers' main job was to rake the leaves in the meadows and then burn them.
